Intense Exercise - You won’t find a solution in the mind. Go to the body instead. There is more peace and wisdom in connecting with your body than there is in connecting with your mind. Too much thinking is what got me depressed in the first place, so the solution is NOT more thinking.
Sunshine Exposure - Expose yourself to morning sunlight every day. If you are feeling depressed, go outside and look up at the sun, I find it very healing.
